Getting Tattooed at Chiangmai Tattoo Time
Before submitting your request for Chiang Mai, please consider if you actually would like to get tattooed during a tattoo convention. Although the event is, besides getting tattooed in Hong Kong, the only opportunity left this year to get tattooed by Jan Willem, Chiangmai Tattoo Time is a public event and therefore definitely a different setting compared to our private studio. If you eventually get booked in, please make sure that you've purchased your ticket for Chiangmai Tattoo Time in advance, as we don't provide entrance tickets for this event.

Selection Process
Please keep in consideration that submitting your request does not automatically guarantee a spot. Due to the very limited available spots and the large amount of requests, Jan Willem is only capable of taking on a select number of custom requests that really fits his significant style and personal liking. Unfortunately, this means that we are not able to fit everyone in.

One shot tattoos or larger projects that can be finished during one guest spot works best for Jan Willem. He also always enjoys to tattoo Yūrei, Yōkai, Masks, Namakubi or subjects from one of his books Studies of the Floating World. However, we still encourage everyone to submit their request, even if the preferred size or subject of the tattoo differs. If you're interested in getting tattooed in Hong Kong or Thailand in November, but the above mentioned dates won't fit your schedule, we also invite you to submit your tattoo request. We'll review all submitted requests with care and will notify you if your request has passed the selection.

Traveling from far or from abroad
If you have to travel to get tattooed by Jan Willem in either Hong Kong or Thailand, please consider if you are able to get to the city of your choice without any restrictions. We always recommend to arrange travel insurance and to check your cancelation policy of your flight and/or accommodation in advance.

Closing Date
Jan Willem's books for Asia will remain open until he is fully booked. Therefore, we highly recommend to submit your request as soon as you can, as we don't accept any further requests anymore once the booking form is disabled.
